Genelle Johnson
Attorney Genelle Johnson earned her undergraduate degree from Loyola University Chicago with a major in Criminal Justice, as well as minors in Psychology and Political Science. Upon graduation, she attended Marquette University Law School, where she earned certificates in Alternative Dispute Resolution, Real Estate, and Sports Law. Attorney Johnson earned her Juris Doctor in May of 2007, and has ever since been practicing in the Fox Valley.
Immediately after completing her law degree, Attorney Johnson began her career locally in the Fox Valley as a Special Prosecutor for the Outagamie County District Attorneys Office. Realizing early on her passion lies with client service, she began her private practice with a focus on Criminal Defense. Attorney Johnson served as defense counsel for nearly 11 years, all while building her general private practice to include Family Law, Small Claims, Guardianships, Juvenile Defense, and Guardian as Litem service in CPS cases.
Attorney Johnson has always had a distinct passion for Family Law practice, and feels strongly that the divorce process and parties’ experiences in the courtroom will permanently impact their lives—and the lives of their family members. Since 2018, Attorney Johnson has focused her practice solely on Family Law, from mediation to trial litigation, and everything in between. Her practice has expanded to include Counties throughout the State of Wisconsin, and mentoring other attorneys who share in that passion.
Attorney Genelle Johnson is ready to serve our Fox Valley clients and is located in our Appleton, Wisconsin office.
